Audlem, Stafford Street, The Square and Shropshire Street

The Old Post Office, Stafford Street, Audlem
The Old Post Office, Stafford Street, Audlem, pen and ink drawing on cartridge paper

The following drawings are all extracts from the one drawing of this beautiful village in Cheshire, close to the borders of Staffordshire and Shropshire. It is a place that our family have visited for almost twenty years by this summer and we are still regular visitors to the wonderful cafe and home of ‘the best home cooked breakfasts ever’ (quoted by a seasoned Australian traveller) – The Old Priest House. A framed print of this drawing should be up on display in the cafe by Easter and prints will soon be available taken from the 2 metre long original.

If you would like to see the drawing in its entirity, please click over to the link  www.drawingthestreet.co.uk
